Joanne Antoine currently serves as Operations Manager at Ready for Hillary PAC. With a passion for empowering women, love for Haiti and addiction to campaign work, Joanne hopes to use her skills to help identify, train and campaign for pro-choice Democratic women.
Over the last few years, she has worked for Organizing for American in Florida and recently worked on the Cory Booker for US Senate campaign in her home state of New Jersey. She has also helped support Haitians running for office with the NJ chapter of the Haitian-American Leadership Council where she currently serves as Director of Membership Development.
Joanne is also involved with a number of organizations. She currently serves as Administrative Coordinator for Jeloude; 4 Womyn by Womyn, volunteers as a Contributing Writer for the GoodSpeaks Project and volunteers with a number of other organizations that are aimed empowering women and girls and fight for women’s right. She is a former New Jersey Haitian Students Association board member; she is the former President of NJCU’s Haitian Students Association and served on the National Association of Haitian Professional’s membership committee. Joanne also volunteers in Haiti with the Haitian-American Caucus and the Youth and Young Adults Agency.
Joanne Antoine has a Master of Arts in Public Policy, Bachelors in Journalism, Certificate in Non-Profit Management and plans on going to law school. She is also a member of the 2014 Claudia L. Mckoin Public Service Leadership Training Academy’s inaugural class.
