Marquita Bradley is a casting director and television producer working in Los Angeles, California. Over the past few years she has had the privilege of working on several commercials, documentaries, television shows, pilots and feature films. Recently, she’s casted Adult Swim’s The Eric Andre Show Live, the web series “Milk & Honey”, and several shows currently in development with Nola, Inc. for various networks. Additionally, she has worked on several films including the 2012 Sundance Film Festival Documentary Selection/PBS Documentary “Slavery By Another Name”, Tyler Perry Produced “Peeples”, and “Abduction” directed by John Singleton to name a few. She is currently writing her first book, developing a couple of television projects and assisting with the casting of an indie feature film.
Prior to casting, Marquita had a thriving career in the field of marketing. Upon graduating with honors from Howard University with a BBA, she worked at some of the top companies in the country including General Electric and Ogilvy and Mather. She has received several awards for her leadership and innovative contributions to the success of marketing campaigns for several brands including DuPont, Genworth Financial, KMART and Sears.
In her spare time, Marquita takes pride in giving back to local and international communities. She is on the board of directors for Lighthouse Lands, a nonprofit organization dedicated to overcoming hunger and poverty in Haiti through sustainable solutions, collaboration, and education of Haitian farmers. Marquita is active with various programs with her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated and gives back through speaking engagements such as the UNCF Empower Me Tour panel. Marquita gives all praise and honor to God for her many gifts and talents. She wholeheartedly believes that “A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before the great” – Proverbs 18:16.
